This week has been a really good week!! We gave one of our investigators a baptism date and it went amazing!! We're planning for her to get baptized on August 26. Her mom is a less active and she is from china and she doesn't speak the best Korean and we don't know if she understands everything we say. But she is wanting to get baptized and keeps wanting to meet with us. She is coming to all of our activities and keeping all of our commitments and so if everything works out we will have a baptism soon!!
We also had another appointment with one of our investigators and it was a really good appointment. I met her on the bus a couple of weeks ago and we started doing the 30 30 program with her. Where we teach her 30mins of English and 30mins of the gospel. She doesn't have any religion and we're teaching her about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father for the first time. We taught her the restoration this week and the spirit was so strong and it was a really cool experience. We all didn't know what to do after the lesson because we all didn't want to leave because of the spirit that was in the room. So we're really excited to see how the next few weeks go!
We also went and did service at a soup kitchen this week with the Elders and it was really fun. It's pretty much just us serving food to grandmas and grandpas and us getting told were pretty, so it's always a fun experience.
Thats about it have a good week!
love 이 자매!

BAPTISM and cherry blossoms
Hey this week has been super exciting!! We had a BAPTISM this week for 김은주 and it went amazing! We had a little stress because they started doing construction on the baptismal font and bathrooms a couple days before the baptism. But after a lot of negotiation we were able to do the baptism through the construction with freezing cold water, which was a blessing. I am so happy for her! It is really cool to see the change in someone while they are preparing for baptism and I am glad I have been able to see her change. We also had a really fun proselyting activity we did the other day. In Korea right now there is a huge cherry blossom festival going on so the missionaries in my area decided to go and do a face painting and balloon animal booth to attract families so we can talk to people about the gospel. And it was a huge a success! We were able to get a lot of contacts and it was just all around a good experience! It was super pretty too because of all the cherry blossom trees and lanterns that were everywhere. But I don't have very much time to email because of transfers and I get a new companion!!!
Everyone have a good week!

Baptisms
Sorry for the delay, we had Zone conference this week which pushed my pday to Tuesday instead of Monday.
This week has been a week of incredible things!
So to start off this week we had a baptism! We have been working as a team with the Elders helping one of our part-member's son, 김은주, learn about the church and this week he got baptized! We were all super happy that we have helped this family get one step closer to becoming sealed in the temple together! After the baptism we had a BUNCO night with the ward and it was super fun! It was so funny all the members were getting in to it and I think we will be playing a lot more bunco later on because they loved it so much!
More big news, one of our investigators, 임민유, is getting baptized in 2 weeks and we are so excited! She is the cutest lady and she really truly is changing. She said when she first met the missionaries it was like a ding happened in her head and that it was telling her that this is the church she needs to go to! She is making so much progression and I feel like she is already a member!! I could go on about how much I love her, but I don't have the time!
We also went and ate sushi this week and it was super good. They serve sushi here in Korea it is so good and I don't think I have ever eaten more in my life! It's really cool they serve it here on a conveyer belt and you just grab the one that you want!
I am just doing really good right now! The Lord is blessing us here in Jeju and we are seeing so many miracles and we are so busy! We barely have time to do anything, it is super fun! Well I love you all! Have a good week!

Rain and baptism
This week we had a baptism!!! Her name is 한상주(han-song-joo). She is 19 years old. The missionaries met her a couple of week before I came into the area and she is the cutest girl!! You can tell that she really knows this gospel is true. The day the baptism was suppose to happen it was pouring that morning and the day before. My companion and I were super worried that the baptism would be cancelled because of the weather. So we prayed. And it was still raining, but as soon as all of us went to the river for the baptism it stopped raining and it was a super cool experience. Once the baptism was finished it starting raining again. The Lord does answer our prayers!!
After the baptism my companion and 한상주 wanted to go eat something new. So we went and ate pig guts. Like the intestines and liver and heart. It was ok I didn't like it that much so I mostly just sat there eating rice and then I would kinda pretended to eat the meat. But it was nasty so I really didn't eat that much. But I probably will have to eat worst things here.
This week it has not stopped raining one bit. And it's crazy because I thought it was suppose to be summer not monsoon season. So we are pretty much wet all the time. We also found theses things called mellon bars and they are amazing!! I really can't stop eating them. They are just the best ice cream bars know to man.
We also went on splits this week and I got to go to a bigger city and it made me grateful for my little country side. It was so crazy how many people we got to talk to in such a short time and how packed it was. There are four other missionary companionships in my area and we can walk everywhere or take a bus or train if we need to.
Love you all and happy fourth of July!!
